Travel and vehicle arrangement:

Yard Administration:
8.Canteen & Convenience Store Management to make sure good housekeeping & hygiene, cost effective food supply and routine inspection for subcontractor performing contractual duties.
9.Car Parking Area Management to monitor daily actual usage and maintain good order.
10.Yard landscape and cleaning management to make sure the yard clean and gardening area are well maintained, workers following company safety regulations etc.
11.Monitor yard washing rooms and drinking areas clean, life garbage and septic tank timely cleaned.
12.Besides the above-listed, shall be responsible for other duties assigned by department supervisor/manager or the company.

Qualification:
Knowledge of principles and processes for administration management, office services, travel management, canteen & landscaping management etc.

Main Duties of the Jobholder:

Main Duties of the Jobholder:

1. Review Tender Documents including the Instructions to Tenderers, Scope of Work, key Contract Dates, Commercial price forms and terms of payment as a minimum.
2. Initiate all required documents and pro-formas as detailed in the Level 2 Procedures.
3. Co-ordinate the distribution of Documents via a document distribution matrix, utilizing both hard copy and electronic media.
4. Co-ordinate Bid Kick off meetings in conjunction with the Bid Project Manager and schedule progress meetings as required.
5. Ensure that the Bid development and bid inputs remain in accordance with the Capture Plan strategies developed in advance (or as subsequently revised).
6. Monitor Engineering Bid Support Budgets and advise Manager of Proposals of any potential overruns.
7. Establish the Bidding Schedule and communicate requirements to all inputting departments. Update schedule as required in the event of extensions being granted.
8. Monitor progress of the Bidding activity and highlight concerns to the Manager of Proposals.
9. Set up and maintain a Bid Clarifications register to log and monitor all pre-bid correspondence for Major Bids.
10. Review and identify any inconsistencies in the Invitation to tender Documents. In particular, ensure that the Commercial price form and Unit Rates schedules are clear and if necessary seek clarification from the Customer.
11. Convene (if necessary) a unit rates meeting to ensure the definitions and principles of the unit rates are understood by all affected groups.
12. Co-ordinate receipt of and issue requests for Clarification. Distribute clarification responses and Bid Addenda as received from the Customer.
13. Direct and provide guidance to the Assembly coordinators for the compilation of the Proposal Document intended for submission to the Customer. Establish in advance requirements for Binders, inserts, Cover pages, labels, envelopes and storage cases for final delivery.
14. Ensure that the relevant Division or General Manager (or his assigned delegate) has approved Commercial inputs that are used in the final Bid.
15. Review commercial inputs and check that there are no significant errors, inconsistencies, oversights, and that the execution plan inputs are in accordance with the Capture plan strategies. Highlight any concerns to the relevant inputting contact.
16. Ensure that inputs are received in the requested format.
17. Expedite inputs to ensure that the bidding schedule is not jeopardized.
18. Conduct Cash Flow analysis as required
19. Prepare Technical / Commercial qualifications listing for review.
20. Prepare all reports and Cost Summaries as defined in the procedure document to satisfy Management bid review requirements.
21. Provide input to various reports associated with the Business Development Group.
22. Review regularly the Proposal Document, to ensure that the requirements of the Customer are fully satisfied in terms of format, content and consistency.
23. Ensure the correct delivery arrangements have been made and confirmed in advance as required.
24. In the event a spreadsheet is developed with the Proposals group to assist in quantifying the size (e.g. tonnage) or the cost of the Bid, it is the Coordinators responsibility to ensure that the Spreadsheet is cross checked by others to ensure no latent formulae errors exist. This practice however shall be employed sparingly.
25. Take the lead on the post submission clarification with client.
26. Ensure the won project is hand over to PMT.

Main Duties of the Jobholder:

Main Duties of the Jobholder:

General
1.Update the Project Controls Manager of the personnel and training requirements of Project Controls personnel assigned to him/her.
Cost Control
2.Ensure that the costs from the “as-sold” bid cost summary are broken down into the standard Work Breakdown Structure line items; ensure that budgets and the chart of accounts are distributed and explained to the budget managers.
3.Ensure that the budgets are controlled before the cost commitments are made, and the commitments are tracked once they are made.

Main Duties of the Jobholder:


Joint planning team participation

Qualification:
Engineering Degree
10 years of relevant planning experience

Main Duties of the Jobholder:

1.Familiarise with as many material grades and types as possible including alternatives.

2.Familiarise with as many Manufacturers welding consumables as possible including alternatives.

3.Keep abreast of current welding technology and possible cost saving processes/equipment/consumables using trade publications, vendor visits and the World Wide Web.

4.Familiarise with all Project related welding Codes and Specifications including all material and consumable types, grades, thicknesses/diameters and sizes.

5.Formulate full WPS drafts including Lead Welding Engineer and Client review and approval if required, taking into account production and process costs.

6.Arrange and witness WPS qualification test piece production, taking into account equipment, consumables, welder qualification and experience, special requirements, pre and post weld heat treatment, mechanical testing, 3rd Party and/or Client witness, etc.

7.Arrange, witness and review Non-Destructive Testing, (NDT), Mechanical testing, including 3rd Party and Client witness when required.

8.Document, register and maintain WPQR’s and results, including 3rd Party and Client review and approval where required.

9.If Weld Procedure Qualification, (WPQ), failures occur, investigate, in consultation with Lead Welding Engineer, RCA and recommend corrective actions/controls.

10.Formulates, arranges and witnesses Welder qualification tests, (with 3rd Party and Client involvement if required), taking into account Code requirements and production costs.

11.Registers and maintains Welder Qualifications taking into account Code requirements on re-testing.

12.Correlates and records, with the assistance of the Certification Department, Welders performance/failure rates in production.

13.Identifies cause of weld failures during production welding, identifies any trends which, if evident, shall be investigated and an RCA identified with recommended actions to prevent recurrence.

14.In addition to the above, shall be responsible for other duties assigned by the Lead Welding Engineer.

Requirement:

In depth knowledge of Oil & Gas welding related Codes and standards including but not limited to; AWS D1.1, ASME B31.3/B31.8, API-2A/2B, ASME B&PVC Section-IX/II(Part-C)/ VIII (Div-I, II), API 1104.
Good working knowledge of materials, welding consumables and processes.
Good command of spoken Chinese and English.
Good technical writing and computer skills.
Should be assertive towards implementation of Productive & Quality welding procedures & systems.
Some ability to delegate but also to work with self motivation.
Good command of written technical English
Minimum 3 years experience in Welding Inspection or Procedure development for fabrication in the Oil & Gas industry including Offshore / Onshore / Pressure-Vessels and Boiler projects. 
Should have understanding of metallurgy.
Basic understanding of constructability methods.
Minimum degree in Welding / Metallurgy, (masters would be advantageous). 
Certifications such as IWE, AWS-CWI/SCWI or CSWIP3.1/3.2; ASNT NDT Level-II, QMS Internal Auditor would be advantageous but not essential.

Main Duties of the Jobholder:

1.To ensure that he is capable of performing all trade evaluations required and in use by QMW.

7.Review all  Competency Cards for completeness and accuracy prior to issue.

8.During periods of low specific workload assist other Evaluators in the performance of their duties.

9.Ensure that the working environment is kept clean and tidy and free from potential hazards.

10.Other similar duties as may be required by the CETC Superintendent.

Requirement:

Vocational or Government certification in a relevant skill.
Good command of spoken and written Chinese.
Spoken English required.
Written English an advantage.
Computer skills using Microsoft suite of software, especially WORD & EXCEL an advantage.
Able to work accurately under pressure, has flexibility to meet demanding deadlines working extra hours when necessary. Good time management skills and ability to prioritize activities.
People skills sufficient to provide information and instructions to others.
Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in a relevant skill.

Main Duties of the Jobholder:

1.Conduct internal and external audits, (where qualified and certified), to determine compliance to the Company Quality Management System, (QMS), and Project Specifications. Follow up on audit findings to ensure proper close out and correction. Ensure that all audits are value added and to ensure proper assessment and objective evidence of compliance is pursued.

2.Establish effective preventative measures and corrective actions to ensure that deficiencies do not re-occur. This process will involve measurement to determine trends and suitable means of correction. Prepare and compile data from audits, identify non-quality trends and consult QA Lead Engineer for resolution.

3.Maintain statistical measurement to define product Quality and performance Quality (KPIs), Quality Indicators, (QI), Cost of Quality, (COQ), and Cost of Non-Quality, (CONQ)..

4.Prepare Quality related lessons-learned through project Close-out Reports.

5.Prepare data for Management Review of the QMS.

6.Prepare Minutes of Meetings, (MOM), for various meetings.

7.Prepare and deliver Quality related awareness training, both general and specific.

8.Prepare and chair Pre-Inspection Meetings, (PIM), for relevant tasks.

9.Formulate and document Company and Project specific Procedures.

10.Develop and maintain various equipment, document and qualification registers.

11.Attend Contract Review/Kick-off meetings to establish possible quality requirements and QMS deficiencies.

12.Attend Client facing meetings to record events and advise.

Requirement:

Relevant working experience of Construction/Fabrication/Projects in Oil & Gas Industry.

Main Duties of the Jobholder:

1.Assists QC Superintendent to identify manpower and equipment histograms.

2.Ensures all equipment in use by the team is calibrated, (where required), in good condition and sufficiently available.

3.Organises and allocates daily workload to discipline Inspection team members.

4.Ensures that required documentation is at the correct revision and available for review and use of the discipline inspection team members

5.Performs random inspections/audits on discipline inspection team members to ensure continuity and quality levels are being achieved and inspections performed.

6.Familiarisation and review of the relevant standards, rules, WPS’s, drawings, codes and specifications applicable to the Project.

7.Check the following prior to welding:-
The current revision of the drawings are available and in use by fitters.
The WPS’s have been approved and are available to welders.
Check material certificates match Material Tracking Number, (MTN), or actual cast/heat and MTN number is visible on each piece.
Check material type matches drawing requirement
Check consumable certificates cast/heat/batch and type/size matches WPS requirement
Check gas certificates if available
Check welder register to ensure correct qualification to WPS and position.
Ensure that all tools to be used are of the right type, Carbon or stainless steel as applicable incl; grinding discs, wire brushes, etc.  Ensure that fabrication aids are protected from contact in the case of stainless/exotic steels incl; stands, vices, etc.
Check rough dimensions and orientations of part.
Check piecemarks, (if required), are applied and legible.
Preheat, if required is at the minimum temperature and is in accordance with WPS

8.Check the following during welding:-
Purge gas, (if required), is at correct flow rate.
WPS inter-pass temperature is monitored and correct.
The welding is in accordance with WPS and being controlled within the WPS parameters, (current, volts, polarity, purge rates & travel speed).
The root run is visually acceptable to code, (where accessible), before filling the joint, (for single sided welds)
On double sided welds, the first run is inspected and subject to the required back-gouging/grinding, and visually free from defects, (NDE may be required, MT/PT).
Gouging/grinding is carried out to an approved method and to good workmanship/industry standard.
Inter-run cleaning is to WPS requirements or to good workmanship/industry standard.

9.Check the following after welding
Weld identification, each weld is marked with the welder’s identification and is identified in accordance with drawing/weldmap
Weld appearance, ensure welds are suitable for all NDE, ( profile, cleanliness etc)
Check weld contour and run widths
Visually inspect welds and sentence in accordance with code/dimensional survey, (check rough dimensions/orientation are in accordance with drawing/code).
Drawings, ensure any modifications are noted for inclusion on as built drawings
PWHT, if required, should be monitored for compliance with procedure, check chart records.
Ensure all NDE has been requested and is complete and reports are available for records.
Repairs, should be monitored in compliance with applicable procedures
Documentation records, ensure all reports/records are completed and collated as required.
If repairs are evident, check for trends and particular welders. If no obvious root cause can be identified refer to Welding engineer.

10.Other Checks to be made:-
Gas bottles are stored correctly and restrained.
Purge gauges are not damaged.
Purge lines are not leaking.
Weld preparations are in accordance with WPS and/or drawings
Joint fit ups are in accordance with WPS/drawings
Tack welds are to good workmanship standard and to code/WPS requirements
No undue stress is being applied to the joint
Weld faces are free from defects, contamination and damage.
Welding equipment is in suitable condition and calibrated as appropriate
Ensure that all tools to be used are of the right type, (CS/SS, incl; grinding discs, wire brushes, stands, vices. etc) 
 
11.For shop welding ensure that there is no through draught, pipe/structure is properly supported and in the correct position for welding and Welder has sufficient and safe access.

12.For site welding ensure that there is no wind or rain ingress, pipe/structure is properly supported and in the correct position for welding and Welder has sufficient and safe access.

13.Observe all relevant actions related to fabrication quality throughout production

14.Record or log all production inspection points relevant to the PQP & ITP, including final reports showing all identified imperfections and repair works.

15.Compare all recorded information with the acceptance criteria and any other relevant clauses in the applicable standards.

16.Ensure all the required documents- inspection records and reports had been prepared in time and correctly recorded.

17.Ensure all the required inspection in the PQP,ITP and drawing had been completed and properly recorded before releasing to next stage.

18.Review and sign the welding history records by properly reviewing the relevant documents to ensure the correctness of the WHSS

19.Endure the welding audit and welder audit is conducted by QC inspectors to cover each welding area in a daily basis

20.Ensures that non-conforming product dispensation and location is known, parts are marked and segregated and all non-conformities corrected and recorded.

21.Point of contact for both Company internal and Client quality audits for the specific discipline.

22.Identify training needs within subordinates and recommend candidates.

23.In addition to the above, shall be responsible for other duties assigned by the relevant QC Superintendent. 

Requirement:

Relevant working experience, both Structural & Piping, in the Oil & Gas Construction & Fabrication Industry.
Experience in fabrication/projects as per codes & standards like AWS D1.1, ASME B31.3/B31.8, API-2A/2B, ASME B&PVC Section-IX/II(Part-C)/ VIII (Div-I, II), API 1104. 
Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
Should be assertive towards implementation of QC procedures and the accomplishment of Quality targets. 
Technical writing and computer literacy.
Ability to delegate.
Min. 3 years experience in QC supervision , (incl subcontractors & vendors supervision), for Project Shop/Site fabrication, Quality Control responsibilities within Oil & Gas Construction / Fabrication / Projects.
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Science related subject.
Certification for Welding Inspection: AWS-CWI or CSWIP3.1 or equivalent.
NDT Level-II certification required. QMS Internal Auditor advantageous but not essential.

Main Duties of the Jobholder:

1.Direct and supervise, through Lead Quality Control Inspectors, quality control activities on day-to-day basis to ensure product Quality and implementation of QC requirements in shop/site.

2.Review Quality Control Planning for projects to ensure compliance first time through proactive and preventive measures and consult with Project Quality Manager concerning prevention and appraisal resources and the effectiveness of Project Quality Plan/Procedures necessary to achieve the product quality.

3.Evaluation and dispensation of non conforming items in consultation with the QA Superintendent.

4.Review Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans in consultation with Project Quality Manager.

5.Ensure that Quality Control problems are addressed and technically resolved.

6.Ensure enough manpower and equipment is available during the project execution as per the schedule.

7.Supervise coordination between Operations, Certifying Authority, Client, and subcontractor assuring conformity to project specifications.

8.Exercise proactive approach in the prevention of problems by interface with production, engineers and management personnel.

9.Perform internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the Company and Project Quality System detailed in Project Quality Plan, (PQP), and  Inspection Test Plan, (ITP).

10.Liaise with customer representatives to ensure product conformity and stage inspection release for each activity detailed within the PQP/ITP. 

11.Monitor and ensure progress/status of as built quality control certification and confirm that mechanical completion is meeting the Project requirements and schedule.

12.Identify areas of improvement within the Quality Control function of the Company.

13.Ensure, through observation and periodic assessment that Quality Control Personnel are capable and qualified to discharge their specified functions.

14.Identify and advise the Project QA Manager on manning levels, equipment availability and personnel capabilities which may affect performance during, and successful completion of, the Project.

15.Raises Quality Control, (QC), related Technical Deviations, (TD), and/or Technical Queries, (TQ), and/or Non-Conformance Reports, (NCR), for deviation/clarification/concession/non conformities from Project Specifications.

16.Registers and tracks all TD’s/TQ’s/NCR’s to ensure that they are resolved and passes any required outcome to relevant Departmental Managers.

17.Receives Client NCR’s and ensures that required actions are taken to ensure non-conformity is corrected, recurrence is prevented and NCR is closed. 

18.Identify training needs within subordinates and recommend candidates.

19.Identify and train a “second” to assume responsibilities in the event of leave/illness or second Project workload.

20.Besides the above-listed, shall be responsible for other duties assigned by Project QA Manager or nominated  company representative.

Requirement:

Relevant working experience (both Structural & Piping) in Construction & Fabrication Industry.

Main Duties of the Jobholder:

8.Perform review of MTC against the requirements of the PL, PO, IRN and the Project specific Specifications and code requirements.
9.If a discrepancy is found inform Warehouse to raise an Overage, Shortage or Damage Report, (OS&D), and return materials to warehouse or alternatively offload in controlled laydown area and affix quarantine stickers.
10.If all documentation is in compliance enter heat/cast number and MTC number on RW.
11.Ensure that the material hard stamping is verified by the QC Inspector Material, (using low stress dot matrix stamps or engraving machine), Heat/cast number on actual material. 
12.Ensure that the correct colour code has been applied to materials  as per ITP requirements.
13.Ensure that the receiving information has been input to PIMS System in a timely manner.
14.Receive and review the Material Receiving Inspection Report, (MRI), from QC inspector material.
15.Transmit PL, PO, MTC and MRI to QC Certification Lead to be a part of as-built dosser.
16.Materials which have been quarantined and had an OS& D or Non-Conformance Report, (NCR), raised against them shall be released once the Non-Conformity is resolved to Company and Client satisfaction.
17.Pro-actively follows-up on the dispensation of quarantined materials.
18.Produces a spreadsheet/Index for each Project showing the following:
PO Number
Date of Receipt
Packing List Number
Material Grade
Material Form/section
Material Thickness
Quantity
MTC Number
Cast/Heat Number
OS&D Number

19.Identify training needs within subordinates and recommend candidates.

Requirement:

Main Duties of the Jobholder:

1. Assists QC Superintendent to identify manpower and equipment histograms.
2. Ensures all equipment in use by the team is calibrated, (where required), in good condition and sufficiently available.
3. Organises and allocates daily workload to discipline Inspection team members.
4. Ensures that required documentation is at the correct revision and available for review and use of the discipline inspection team members
5. Performs random inspections/audits on discipline inspection team members to ensure continuity and quality levels are being achieved and inspections performed.
6. Ensures that the Client is given the required notice for any review points as indicated in the Inspection & Test Plan, (ITP).
7. Receive Packing List, (PL), Purchase Order, (PO), Material Test Certificate, (MTC), Inspection Release Note, (IRN), and Receiving Worksheet, (RW),from Warehouse.
8. Perform review of MTC against the requirements of the PL, PO, IRN and the Project specific Specifications and code requirements.
9. If a discrepancy is found inform Warehouse to raise an Overage, Shortage or Damage Report, (OS&D), and return materials to warehouse or alternatively offload in controlled laydown area and affix quarantine stickers.
10. If all documentation is in compliance enter heat/cast number and MTC number on RW.
11. Ensure that the material hard stamping is verified by the QC Inspector Material, (using low stress dot matrix stamps or engraving machine), Heat/cast number on actual material.
12. Ensure that the correct colour code has been applied to materials  as per ITP requirements.
13. Ensure that the receiving information has been input to PIMS System in a timely manner.
14. Receive and review the Material Receiving Inspection Report, (MRI), from QC inspector material.
15. Transmit PL, PO, MTC and MRI to QC Certification Lead to be a part of as-built dosser.
16. Materials which have been quarantined and had an OS& D or Non-Conformance Report, (NCR), raised against them shall be released once the Non-Conformity is resolved to Company and Client satisfaction.
17. Pro-actively follows-up on the dispensation of quarantined materials.
18. Produces a spreadsheet/Index for each Project showing the following:-

Main Duties of the Jobholder:

Review of AFC documents at project award to ensure that necessary NDT resources are available to fulfill project requirements.
Oversee the approval of Level III NDT procedures, NDT consumables and material requisitions.

Main Duties of the Jobholder:

1. Monitor, record and report all activities associated with surface preparation and coating.
2. Review and familiarize with Project Codes/Specifications/Procedures/Method Statements/Manufacturers Data sheets Project Quality Plan, (PQP), and Inspection and Test Plan, (ITP), for coating application.
3. Ensure the calibration/validation of all inspection equipment and tools in use , both Company and Sublet.
4. Check Blasters/Painters qualification against approved Project register.
5. Check any blasting medium is of the required type and ensure that it is certified.
6. Ensure atmospheric conditions are met prior to any surface preparation.
7. Monitor the Air Temperature, Dew Point and Relative Humidity as required by Project Specifications, PQP, and ITP prior to blasting and throughout coating application.
8. Verify that all surfaces are in compliance with Project Specification requirements.
9. Particularly ensure that “feathering” onto pre-applied coating, either during partial application or repair, has been completed to Project requirements.
10. Ensure caulking/masking where necessary has been completed satisfactorily.
11. Where hand tools are used for surface preparation, particularly in the case of repair areas, ensure that tools are of the correct type, eg, iron free on stainless steel and exotic materials.
12. Check cleanliness and humidity of blast/coating compressed air supply.
13. Check that nozzle sizes, air pressures and volumes are as per manufacturers recommendations for both blasting and coating application..
14. Report all surface defects to subcontractor at the prep stage, intermediate coat and final finish and rectify per Project requirements.
15. Ensure that all sensitive areas are protected, eg flange faces and threads, etc, and that all hollow sections are protected against detritus/debris/ blasting media ingress prior to any surface preparation..
16. Ensure that all coating products are of the correct manufacture, type, colour and record this and the batch numbers. 
17. Witness coating thinning and mixing, ensure that correct mixing and thinning to Project specifications has taken place..
18. Check final colour coat is as required by Project specification against linelist..
19. Initiate Inspection requests for client’s monitoring inspections.
20. Inspect Wet Film Thickness, (WFT), and Dry Film Thickness, (DFT), as required by the Project Specifications, PQP and ITP.
21. Carry out Holiday Testing when applicable using calibrated equipment as required by the Project Specifications, PQP and ITP.
22. Prepare the inspection reports and records.
23. Witness and document test panels where required.
24. Complete the required testing of mock-up, (test), panels and document results.
25. As many of the dusts and vapours associated with blasting and coating are hazardous to your health, may be flammable and can cause reduced visibility, it is imperative and mandatory that Inspectors take precautions against inhalation and are keenly observant of unsafe acts, which should be stopped and reported to the Company HSE Department immediately.
26. Generate and maintain registers and progress as may be required and advised by the QC Lead Inspector Coating
27. In addition to the above other duties as may be assigned by the QC Lead Inspector Coating.

Qualifications:

In depth knowledge of coating types, practices and processes. 
Knowledge of NACE requirements mandatory
Basic computing skills and working knowledge of Microsoft S Office suite.
Hands-on skills in coating application process advantageous but not essential.

Main Duties of the Jobholder:

1. Familiarisation and review of the relevant standards, rules, WPS’s, drawings, codes and specifications applicable to the Project.
2. Check the following prior to welding:-
The current revision of the drawings are available and in use by fitters.
The WPS’s have been approved and are available to welders.
Check material certificates match Material Tracking Number, (MTN), or actual cast/heat and MTN number is visible on each piece.
Check material type matches drawing requirement
Check consumable certificates cast/heat/batch and type/size matches WPS requirement
Check gas certificates if available
Check welder register to ensure correct qualification to WPS and position.
Ensure that all tools to be used are of the right type, Carbon or stainless steel as applicable incl; grinding discs, wire brushes, etc.  Ensure that fabrication aids are protected from contact in the case of stainless/exotic steels incl; stands, vices, etc.
Check rough dimensions and orientations of part.
Check piecemarks, (if required), are applied and legible.
Preheat, if required is at the minimum temperature and is in accordance with WPS
3. Check the following during welding:-
Purge gas, (if required), is at correct flow rate.
WPS inter-pass temperature is monitored and correct.
The welding is in accordance with WPS and being controlled within the WPS parameters, (current, volts, polarity, purge rates & travel speed).
The root run is visually acceptable to code, (where accessible), before filling the joint, (for single sided welds)
On double sided welds, the first run is inspected and subject to the required back-gouging/grinding, and visually free from defects, (NDE may be required, MT/PT).
Gouging/grinding is carried out to an approved method and to good workmanship/industry standard.
Inter-run cleaning is to WPS requirements or to good workmanship/industry standard.
4. Check the following after welding;
Weld identification, each weld is marked with the welder’s identification and is identified in accordance with drawing/weldmap
Weld appearance, ensure welds are suitable for all NDE, ( profile, cleanliness etc)
Check weld contour and run widths
Visually inspect welds and sentence in accordance with code/dimensional survey, (check rough dimensions/orientation are in accordance with drawing/code).
Drawings, ensure any modifications are noted for inclusion on as built drawings
PWHT, if required, should be monitored for compliance with procedure, check chart records.
Ensure all NDE has been requested and is complete and reports are available for records.
Repairs, should be monitored in compliance with applicable procedures
Documentation records, ensure all reports/records are completed and collated as required.
If repairs are evident, check for trends and particular welders. If no obvious root cause can be identified refer to Welding engineer.
5. Other Checks to be made:-
Gas bottles are stored correctly and restrained.
Purge gauges are not damaged.
Purge lines are not leaking.
Weld preparations are in accordance with WPS and/or drawings
Joint fit ups are in accordance with WPS/drawings
Tack welds are to good workmanship standard and to code/WPS requirements
No undue stress is being applied to the joint
Weld faces are free from defects, contamination and damage.
Welding equipment is in suitable condition and calibrated as appropriate
Ensure that all tools to be used are of the right type, (CS/SS, incl; grinding discs, wire brushes, stands, vices. etc) 
6. For shop welding ensure that there is no through draught, pipe/structure is properly supported and in the correct position for welding and Welder has sufficient and safe access.
7. For site welding ensure that there is no wind or rain ingress, pipe/structure is properly supported and in the correct position for welding and Welder has sufficient and safe access.
8. Observe all relevant actions related to fabrication quality throughout production
9. Record or log all production inspection points relevant to the PQP & ITP, including final reports showing all identified imperfections and repair works.
10. Compare all recorded information with the acceptance criteria and any other relevant clauses in the applicable standards.
11. Besides the above-listed, shall be responsible for other duties assigned by the relevant QC Lead Inspector. 

Qualifications:

Main Duties of the Jobholder:

Main Duties of the Jobholder:

1.  Coordinate discipline engineering to support yard fabrication.
