On 8th February 2022, Qingdao McDermott Wuchuan (QMW) received the 2021 “Safe Production Elite Unit” Award jointly presented by the local Governance Authority, China Republic Xue Jia Dao Street Working Committee and Xue Jia Dao Street Authority Office. The “Safe Production Elite Unit” Award is presented to QMW based on our outstanding Safety Performance, close cooperation with the various Authorities and resounding implementation of our Safety Management System. Under the Xue Jia Dao Street Authority Office, these are over hundred of companies from different industries and only eleven companies have been recognized with this prestigious award and QMW has received this award for eight consecutive years.

In 2021, QMW has received Zero Recordable Incident with more than 9.1 Million worked hours and have been inspected by the various Authorities for more than thirty times, without any violation recorded. In 2022, we will continue to work with our Zero Defect Zero Hurt safety culture, strive for excellency on Proactive Prevention Safety Focus and People-Oriented mindset, and lead among our peers.
